Welcome to the Website of Court
Meadow School in Cuckfield, West Sussex. We hope these pages
will give you a taster of the rich and varied life of our school. Our school
caters for pupils with learning difficulties and additional needs aged 2-19.
There are currently 10 classes in the school each staffed wit 1 teacher and
several Special Support Assistants (SSAs). 4 classes offer more specialised
provision for pupils with Complex Needs and Profound and Multiple Learning
Disabilities (PMLD).
We are supported by Speech and Language Therapists,
physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The school also has a school nurse
on site.
Pupils enjoy a broad curriculum which takes account of the statutory
National Curriculum, specialised activities and therapies and pupils’ individual
needs which are addressed through their Individual Education Plan. Court Meadow
also promotes off-site learning and is proud of its excellent community links.
